Being my first year in a company out of college I have made a lot of mistakes and when I look back, I feel so stupid and thankful to all the people for not punching me in the face.

I wished I would have known these things before getting into the real world out of my college, that’s why I decided to write this story for you.

Out of the lessons mentioned below, some are learned the hard way some the smart way. Here is how I was ‘learned’ all of my learnings.

  • Whenever I made mistakes, people politely reached out to me with constructive feedbacks with their best intentions to help me out.
  • Sometimes it was just after observing other people in the way they deal with other people and respond to situations.
  • And sometimes it was just some good introspection after learning something from leaders.
